This is how adoption works
Not every stone becomes a Pebbl. And not every Pebbl suits everyone.
At the Pebbls Adoption Center, we look closely. Each potential Pebbl is hand-selected, given time to show its character, and only then released for adoption. No assembly line. No anonymous mass-produced goods. Each Pebbl is prepared individually.
Four Steps to Adoption
Found
We collect potential Pebbls ourselves in places where wind, water and time have shaped them. Form, surface, colour and the first impression determine who gets to come to the Adoption Centre.
Arrived
New Pebbls are initially given a quiet spot. Some immediately show who they are. Others need a little longer. That's fine – Pebbls don't have to impress anyone.
Met
We identify the material, note special features, and develop the character profile. Each Pebbl receives its own registration number and personal adoption certificate.
Ready
Only when everything is right is a Pebbl released for adoption. From that moment on, it waits for the person who will turn a found object into a companion.

No assembly line, no anonymous mass-produced goods. At the Adoption Center, someone takes the time for each individual stone – and you can see that in every single Pebbl in the end.

Is a Pebbl a real pet?
A Pebbl is a natural stone and is intended as a personal companion, adoptive stone, and collector's item. It doesn't bark, shed, or have any trouble with small apartments.
Can a Pebbl really listen?
It won't interrupt you, anyway. Many people find it helpful to say their thoughts out loud or to hold something familiar in their hand. Whatever you tell your Pebbl can simply stay between you two.
Do Pebbles have an energy?
Many people associate natural stones with peace, protection, courage, or inner strength. Whether and how you perceive this is personal. Pebbls do not make any medical or therapeutic healing promises.
Do I get the exact pebble in the photo?
Yes. Every Pebbl is a unique natural specimen with its own registration number. When you adopt it, you receive that exact specimen.
Can a Pebbl die?
A Pebbl does not get sick and has already experienced a lot of time before it comes to the Adoption Center. With a little attention, it can accompany you for a lifetime – and perhaps even longer.
What happens if I lose my Pebbl?
A found Pebbl can be uniquely identified by its registration number. Unfortunately, it cannot walk home by itself. Therefore, we recommend a secure carrying ring or travel pouch for when you're on the go.
Can I adopt multiple Pebbls?
Of course. Pebbls are uncomplicated flatmates and don't require a long settling-in period. Just make sure that everyone gets a place where their character can shine.

Pebbls are collector's items for ages 14 and up. They appeal to people looking for a silent companion, a personal ritual, an unusual gift, or simply a very special stone.
